The rehabilitation and refurbishment to convert the old Hostal Baleares int a 4 star hotel, situated in the neighbourhood of Pere Grau, the expansion district of Palma city.
The rehabilitation of this establishment was a proposal with a view to enhance the area which was scarce of tourist attraction, thus providing quality and choice to the neighbourhood.
The main intervention of the project consisted of stripping all toxic and contaminated elements and re-distribute the floors, providing the services of an updated and current hotel.
The first 3 floors hold the 45 rooms of the hotel, with 15 units on each floor, all of which are distributed around the old central patio which has been restored to its original status.
With this rehabilitation we have recovered the original structure of the building and re-established the appearance of the facades to their current state.
